Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all...
A couple of years ago I started exclusively shooting boudoir.
I wasn't sure where it was going to go but as with anything creative, I follow my gut (always) and i'm unafraid to change it up accordingly.
Just over a year ago I met Megan Monaco & we quickly became friends & co-pilots in the boudoir world.
She is my go-to for any hair & make up the people want, she's my model when I wanna get weird and learn how to take shower photos,
& she's seen me in some super strange positions in a creek to get "the shot". She is my cheerleader, my muse, my confidant, and my dear friend.
I love her laughter & tenacity - even though I call her my baby (cause she's a solid 15 years or so younger than I) she's a gem of a human & that knows no age.
Oddly enough i've been toying around with the idea of opening myself up to photograph more than boudoir. I miss other areas of photography if i'm being honest.
It's wild that as i'm having these feelings Megan finds herself ENGAGED (holllllla, so amazing, I love you both) & asks if i'd photograph their engagement session.
It honestly was exactly what I needed in my creative world to remind myself that anything is possible (if I want it) & it has ignited a spark in my creative heart once again.
Over the next month or so i'll be opening my books up to engagements, family portraits, & other various portrait sessions.
I have never been a fan of boxes, especially within the creative world so here we are - welcome to the next chapter of Emotive Exposure.
Lifestyle & Intimate Portraits.
Oh, & DUH - congratulations to Megan & Tom - thank you once again for trusting me with such a sweet & important milestone in your life.
I love you endlessly.
Ain't love just spectacular?
